Description:
In which direction are DVS members and how far away are they? Visualize the community relative to your location - are most people South of you? How does your view compare to other members' around the globe?
Process for Creation:
First, I look at the raw data - what fields are available and how sparse are they & how much variance do they have? Then I make some paper sketches of ways to visualize the data. I'll explore a few directions in code, scrapping anything that might be confusing or doesn't pan out the way I want it to.
