DVS Value Statement
The Data Visualization Society was founded to serve as a professional home for those working across the discipline while leading others into this growing, dynamic field, and to increase the visibility and value of data visualization to the general public. Our mission is to connect data visualizers across tech stacks, subject areas, and experiences.
We are almost an entirely volunteer organization, including our Board of Directors. Our aim is to foster and promote an inclusive Board, Committees, and support team which fully represents our membership in its diversity of race, gender, age, religion, identity, and professional experience.
To apply for the role, please contact Nena Untung, DVS Membership Director, at membership@datavisualizationsociety.org.
