Data Craft Circle is a space to bring your data encoding creativity whether you bead\, collage\, embroider\, or just want to try something new. Come with a project in progress or start something fresh; we’ll have some guiding prompts to help you get started. \nThis is a free virtual event presented by the Data Visualization Society and is open to the public to join. \nHow it works \nAs we work on our respective projects\, we’ll have some informal conversation. You are welcome to chat and share ideas or just lock in on your project and enjoy the quiet focus. At the end\, we’ll save time for some (very optional) “show and tell.” We will alternate the time of this event each month to be inclusive of various time zones. \nKeep the conversation going \nJoin the Data Visualization Society Slack to connect with data visualization practitioners at all career stages in the #connect-early-careers and #topic-data-crafts channels.

DESCRIPTION:The Information Design Conference (formerly the Infographics Conference) is an annual event focused on information design\, infographics\, and data visualization. Each year we invite a diverse group of designers from around the world to share their work. The conference brings together around 300 attendees – designers\, students\, media professionals\, and enthusiasts—with about 20% joining us from abroad. The upcoming edition (our 18th!) will take place on October 30\, 2026\, in Hilversum\, the Netherlands.
