DESCRIPTION:Connect with others working on analog data experiences from quilts to beads to embroidery and everything in between! \n\n\n\n\nConnect with others working on analog data experiences! \nJoin us for a gathering of creating\, sharing\, and connecting! Data Craft Circle is a space to bring your data encoding creativity whether you bead\, collage\, embroider\, or just want to try something new. Come with a project in progress or start something fresh; we’ll have some guiding prompts to help you get started. \nThis is a free virtual event presented by the Data Visualization Society and is open to the public to join. \nHow it works \nAs we work on our respective projects\, we’ll have some informal conversation. You are welcome to chat and share ideas or just lock in on your project and enjoy the quiet focus. At the end\, we’ll save time for some (very optional) “show and tell.” We will alternate the time of this event each month to be inclusive of various time zones. \nKeep the conversation going \nJoin the Data Visualization Society Slack to connect with data visualization practitioners at all career stages in the #connect-early-careers and #topic-data-crafts channels.
